The Ermenrich Ping MK10 clamp meter is a portable measuring device that does not require a circuit breaker to measure current, thus ensuring safe work with electrical networks and electrical devices. The digital clamp meter is indispensable in cases where it is not possible to turn off the electric current, and it is suitable for use when measuring in hard-to-reach places.
The device combines the functions of a voltmeter (measurement of direct and alternating voltage), an ammeter (measurement of alternating current) and an ohmmeter (measurement of resistance). Calculations are performed using the true RMS value (True RMS method), and therefore the accuracy of the measurement of variable quantities is high. Other features of this model include circuit continuity test and diode fault testing.
The measurement results and operating parameters of the device are displayed on the built-in display. The backlight of the display makes it easier to work in low light or in complete darkness. There is a function to hold the display of the measured value, which is useful in situations where it is not possible to immediately read the measured values from the instrument. After activation, the measured data is "frozen" on the display and can be accessed later.
The device requires a pair of standard batteries to operate. The auto-off feature helps conserve battery power. When the batteries are low, you will see a notification that they need to be replaced.
