The Ermenrich Zing ST30 socket tester is designed to test whether all sockets are connected correctly and to check the voltage. The tester needs to be plugged directly into the socket and flashing LEDs indicate various electrical faults: missing ground wire / missing neutral wire, reversed polarity of phase and neutral conductor or reversed polarity of phase and earth conductor. In addition, a specific color code that appears on the tester's display indicates the correct connection status. The function of each code is written on the device.
