The CC2531 dongle is an extremely useful and functional USB device that acts as a ZigBee coordinator. It serves as a sort of default node to which you can connect other IEEE802-compatible devices. Just connect it to a PC or laptop with the Home Assistant app and you can enjoy the friendly user interface - the gateway also has the CC2531ZNP-Prod software loaded to allow you to use the ZigBee2MQTT app.
With the device, you can easily configure and control other compatible Sonoff ZigBee products in your home automation system. However, we recommend integrating the CC2531 key. The coordinator can handle up to approximately 30 devices.
After configuring the ZigBee coordinator, simply pair the selected devices with it. Once you do so, you get convenient access to information about the hardware, as well as the ability to update its software. Controlling your home assistant has never been so convenient
ZigBee CC2531 surprises with its very good range and well-thought-out design. The key is equipped with 8 IO connectors, a debugging port, a voltage regulator and an inverted F antenna. All these components are characterized by excellent quality and ensure reliable operation of the coordinator.
The device was also equipped with 2 buttons and LEDs that indicate its operation. This makes operation even simpler and more intuitive - in short, adapted to your needs.
The coordinator has small dimensions and a light weight of 6 g. It is therefore very convenient to use its functions. Its dimensions are only 5.6x1.6x0.7 cm. The key does not have a case - you can buy it separately.
