The Arduino Ethernet Shield will enable Arduino Nano, Mega 1280/2560 or
Duemilanove 168/328 internet connection. Cannot be used alone.
It is compatible with Arduino IDE libraries.
The module can be used as a server or a client.
Basic characteristics:
• Uses a Wiznet 5100 Ethernet chip that allows both TCP and UDP protocols to be used. The "Ethernet library" can be used for programming.
• Connection to the network via a standard RJ-45 connector.
• Contains a reset button (kit and shield reset).
• It also contains a slot for a MicroSD memory card, which can be used when transferring data over the network. It is compatible with all Arduino/Genuino kits. The "SD Library" library is accessible for the SD card reader.
The product is not an independently functional unit, it requires professional assembly.
