Infrared obstacle sensor. Reflective optocoupler for obstacle detection with a shiny reflecting surface. Adjustable sensitivity for a distance of 2–30 cm (set with a potentiometer - you set the distance below which the module outputs a high signal). The sensor has one infrared diode for the transmitter and one for the receiver. If there is an obstacle in the detection area, the green indicator lights up. The sensor has a digital output signal, when there is no obstacle the state on the pin is low 0V and when an obstacle occurs, the state on the pin is high 5V.
