The temperature fire detector features advanced Thermistek™ fire detection technology. This is based on a highly sensitive thermistor sensor, a unique reflective surface and a predictive algorithm, thanks to which the detector is able to react to an emerging fire significantly faster than conventional temperature detectors.
The detector is highly resistant to false alarms caused by substances commonly found in the home. It is equipped with a large test button, which is primarily used to regularly verify functionality and charge the battery. It can also be used as part of the Smart Silence™ function to temporarily silence the signaling in the event of a false alarm (e.g. when food is burnt in the kitchen).
The detector is certified in accordance with the European standard BS 5446-2:2003. Power is provided by a built-in lithium battery, which ensures the operation of the detector for up to 10 years. The detector is covered by a 10-year warranty.
