The ABUS water sensor is a technical sensor. It responds to water and other fluids. As soon as its contact points (can be placed directly at the sensor or offset; cable length approx. 150 cm) come in contact with water, it alarm via an integrated signal generator (85 dB (A) at 1 m). The sensor can be used on the floor in the kitchen, in the bathroom or in the cellar. Damage caused by broken pipes or ruptured water hoses from washing machines or dishwashers can be detected quickly and reduced by prompt intervention.
