Preparation for adjusting the hardness of pool water LAGUNA Ca 1l

TI6423343

The preparation serves to reduce the hardness of water, which is generally caused mainly by calcium and magnesium salts. It prevents the formation of deposits on the walls and bottom of the pool and at the same time binds iron and manganese ions, which cause unwanted water coloration. It is usually expressed in the so-called German degrees of hardness, 1 °N = 10 mg of calcium oxide (CaO) in a liter. According to these degrees, water is usually distinguished as very soft up to 4 °N, soft 4 - 7 °N, medium hard 7 - 14 °N, hard 14 - 21 °N and very hard above 21 °N. If the pool is filled with hard water, calcium and magnesium salts are excreted from the water. Other impurities are packed onto these deposits and this creates a suitable environment for the formation of algae, bacteria and viruses.
