With this Full HD HDMI over Ethernet extender it is possible to transfer a TV signal to another HDMI screen in another room by using a network cable. You can bridge a distance of up to 60 meters by using a Cat5e or Cat6 cable. A network cable fits easily through PVC pipes and a network signal is reliable, even at longer lengths which is not the case when using long HDMI cables.
The maximum achievable resolution is 1920 x 1080. Other features of HDMI, such as 3D support, CEC, DTS and Dolby Digital, are supported and/or passed on.
