Wireless access point TL-WA845RE meeting the Wi-Fi standard 802.11n with a transmission speed of up to 300 Mbit / s. The device is especially suitable for home use, where it will be ideal for video streaming, file sharing or online gaming. It will also serve well in smaller companies for wireless expansion of the existing cable network. It is fully compatible with older network elements operating under the traditional 802.11b / g standard. By default, the access point works in the so-called Range Extender mode, when it collects the transmitted signal from routers or other access points and repeats this signal to uncovered areas. Furthermore, it can work in the classic AP mode and thus ensure the connection of the cable segment of the network with the wireless segment. These activities are provided by an integrated omnidirectional antenna with a power of 2 dBi. The protection of the data transmission itself is guaranteed by the security of WPA2 technology with AES encryption. An interesting feature is the support of CCA technology, which improves wireless transmission by automatically preventing conflicts on individual channels. The big advantage of this model is that it can be plugged directly into the socket and no additional adapter with cable is needed.
